and for the neons, can you hook it up to the headlight switch somehow, so when you turn on ur headlights you can turn on the neons, i guess thats the only time you need the neons anyways, at night right?

Go to Canadian Tire. In there "Reactive" Section with all their underglow they have ignited switches there. I think those are the ones your looking for

canadian tire has a lot of those toggle swithces you can get ones for 15 but if you want the cover they are like 40 but right now they are on sale (i work at canadian tire)

anways i had did the same with my car i have my neons hook on to a switch and in to a cigerette plug and i works but then i saw one of thoes add a fuse and a hooked up that to the switch instead of the cigertte plug. But now i have a problem cause they do not work. the add a fuse can only have up to 10 and you connect the positive wire to it. i grounded it to the frame and the positive to the add a fuse and it does not work.
My question is do you need more than 10 amps to run neon lights? or did i wired it wrong?

Sounds like you wired it wrong. What is wrong with just connecting the wire to one of the existing fuses or get a fuse tap. Either way it's not very difficult to do. Make sure you have a good ground too.

hook the neg for the neons, to the neg for the cig lighter. if you blew the fuse move up in size.

Yup. Canada may be different, but down here there are laws regarding how many lights are on your car, what color they are, and whether they're DOT approved or not. You are not allowed to drive your car with any non-DOT approved lights turned on.

That is not a federal law. That is governed by the state you are in.
