everyone thinks
Probably because they've never seen or driven one, RAs are pretty rare. Looking at the HP/torque numbers, the Ralliart isn't too impressive, but once you drive it and feel how short the gearbox is, then it's another story. The only way to get them all to respect the RA is to beat them at the track.

RSX type S is faster than the Ralliart as are a few other cars in the same price as the ralliart...
If your looking to buy a car for speed the RA isn't the right car for 20 grand your better off with the SRT-4 or a WRX
RA does handle fairly well and it has a nice mivec engine which has good tuning potential. Its also a very reliable car that is a comfortable daily driver with a little bit of performance behind it I would say its a good buy for 20k unless all you want is speed.

Your first mistake was posting anything on clubrsx I used to have a RSX I hated that board way too many ricers and just smart asses everywhere.
I went over and looked at the post one guy even said "I want to join this race of 17 second cars in my 90hp vw" because he is obviously clueless as to what engine the RA has.
Anyways don't let those guys get to you, they don't realize the RA and the Spec V make almost the same WHP.
Let the TYPE S guys have thier fun.... just remember how much they are paying for insurance and it makes me feel good haha

yea i know, everywhere i go people think my ralliart is slow. makes me mad. Oh and my car was only 16,500 so really its not in the same price range as the rsx cause you woudl never get that car at the price i got it at. so o well. only thing i can say is the ralliart is a sleeper cause everyone thinks its slow. so smash away guys smash away.
It's cuz most people don't know about the 2.4L engine, and think it's the base 120hp 2.0 motor. That, and because SCC mercilessly ragged on it for it's (admittedly bunk) stock tires - perhaps they are too Jaded by the Evo or something, although I can't help but feel that they were way too biased toward the Spec in that article. I suppose it's just a mere coincidence that they co-drive more than one spec-V, both in Rally and GT?
Funny how the Motor Trend didn't seem to agree with them. Or C&D.

alot of people in my area have never heard of a ralli-art, i get alot of peeps that think its an oz rally. I had one girl (in a o4 civic coupe) pull up next me @ the light and say "another slow oz" I just looked at her laugh and said "stupd ho, honda's are for kids". Anyways, those rsx guys are tools, they even have the nerves to say the base rsx auto or stick (160hp and 140trq) can kill a RA...
. Only a few smart guys up there back up the RA but the rest just put there foot in there mouth.Plus they wasted 22k - 25k for luxary. I just laugh... for the same money you could get an srt4 or wrx, if you noticed most rsx guys trade there car for turbo vehicles, IMO they wasted there money. Also for those saying the RA isnt the best buy for 20k and to get an srt4 or wrx... nobody has paid 20k or more for there RA, for under 20k, it is the best buy, and pound for pound its only comp is the specV. I got mine for 13k... so for 13k I got a freakin still and can still kill 90% of the vehicles in my class, easy!

yes the only people who have actually giving me any props on my ralliart has been a guy who owns a Evo RS. Not even the people who have cavaliers think it was tight. thinks its slow once they look under the hood and see a single overhead cam. makes me mad.
