I agree. I went injen, but only because I liked the fact that it replaces the factory rubber elbow in front of TB - even though it doesn't make a HP diff, I think it looks a little cleaner.

I have the RRM Shortram Intake on my RA Sportback and man it sounds sweet and really adds hp gains.... Injen only has the CAI and it won't fit the Auto tranny so SRI it was. Best mod yet.

Injen may have a better name but RRM did a great job and I have one. I cannot imagine Injen being better. RRM intake had great power gains and sounds tough. As for the last piece of pipe to the TB(on Injen), that is a bad idea. That is why Injen intakes break like so many of the OZ guys can attest to. They are too rigid and do not accomodate the movement of the engine!
I went with RRm and I would do it again!

OFF TOPIC..
It seems like we have about 3 of these threads posted a day, perhaps we should have them posted in a section or maybe put a notice up about searching for these threads before starting them, because we have like 50000 exhaust and intake threads, and there are only 2 intakes and a few exhausts out..what else can be said without being repetitive..?

*****ing only because I get tired of the same threads day in day out..

I just installed my Injen CAI and this is the 2nd one for me. I had one on my Protege5 for 2 years with no problems at all. I like Injen and i have had friends with AEM intakes with no problems either. They are all well established companies and known for their quality. Same for RRM just reading through the posts I would have gone with RRM if Injen didn't have one for the RA. Sometimes it doesn't hurt to try out a product from a new company if you haven't done so before.

I JUST finished putting in my Injen... pretty nice build quality, good sound, and a smallish gain on the ol' ****-dyno. And yes, it's hella loud after 6k rpm.

Yeah, tonight I took some kid and his girlfriend in a kitted-out Type-S, with 3 ppl in my car. Those cheesey 19" chrome rims couldn't have been helping his cause though.
