I know this has probably been done before but how much did everyone pay for their ralliart. I know its also traditional to answer your own question, and i also know i am going to get flamed for this, but i have a story behind it on how much mitsu(mainly bruce titus in olympia washington) sucks. Allright lets see how much i get from this.

Wow, how'd they talk you into paying $31k for a Ralliart? Even in Canadian dollars that'd be rediculous, and according to your profile you're in the US!

And yup, this thread has been done at least a couple times now. Same as in the other threads, I paid $18.6k USD out the door (no financing) w/ sun, sound, and side airbags.

15.5k for my 04 (going to be 21k or so after the 6 year financing)

Ok here we go:
At first I was just going to the dealerships with my mom to help her pick out a good car for her needs. The car we were mainly looking at was the wrx. Well my mom looked and drove it and said she didn't like it cause she wouldn't want to put the dogs in it, but other than that she loved it. So we went next door to mitubishi and she started looking at the lancers. Well I started looking at them too, and was really looking at this OZ that for some reason, i liked. So my mom asked me if i liked it and if i wanted it. I said I dont know and wanted to drive it first. So i drove it around and could already tell it was slower then my automatic probe. So we went back and started talking with the salesman. He went and talked to his boss and they agreed that i could take it home for a two week test period and if i didn't like it i could bring it back in andget something else provided i didn't put a s**t load of miles on it. So i drove it home, which was about 2 1/2 hours away and decided that i didn't like it and that it was too slow for me and that i would take it back in the morning. Stupid me I forgot to get the statement in writing, i think you can tell where its going from here.
So i went back the next morning, and sure enough, they told me since i didn't get it in writing that there was nothing they could do for me. So basically my mom had to buy the car, and the trade in value was just added on to my ralliart tab, ie 21k + 10k the oz was worth= the most expensive stock ralliart ever to grace the roads. Thanks to the d***heads at Bruce Titus Mitsubishi

 

I paid 28k Canadian before taxes. It was the first 2005 the dealership received the 18th of august. I just fell in love with the car... I got the S&S package with the 6CDs player and tinted windows.

However, I would have bought an 04 if they had any left at that time and Im sure it would have cost me a couple thousands less... I bargained the dealer for 3 hours and a half.

 

I paid just under 26k new for my 04 with sun and sound, all taxes in. In Canadian Dollars.

 

Oh man! Not only did you buy two cars, but you were only given one of them!

How much was the OZ originally? Something doesn't add up.

 

That has to be one of the most f*cked up stories ive heard in a long time, But my God ive never heard of a TWO WEEK test period. The dealerships around here let me keep my ralliart for a day, and I had to sign a paper saying that if i didnt return it within 24 hours they were gonna sue me and call the authorities.

Yeah, that story is actually really common. It is a trick that dealerships used to use a lot, but I think because people got wise to it they almost all stopped. One of the dealerships I went to was holding my keys while I test drove the RA and when I got back I didn't like the price they were offering and they told me they would give me back my keys when we reached a deal. I basically told them to eat sh*t and to give me my keys. They said no again, and without warning I called the cops on my cell phone and told them to come, the dealer was very apologetic before the cops came (obviously) but I waited for the cops to show up and deal with them. Needless to say, I got my RA elsewhere for 19.2 out the door.

 

i cant remember how much the oz was orignially, its been a year now. Like I said my mom ended up buying it, and then she got t-boned so she got out of it and got a brand new explorer. stephen, that sucks to hear you had to call the cops
