Finally

My car is finally in for repairs. Should be done by wednsday or friday (thursday is a holiday in Canada). I'm driving our Trailblazer right now. For SUVs, this one handles great, has good power etc. But WOW, what a difference! I already miss my stiff springs and sporty transmission. The tuning of the transmission makes the Trailblazer feel like a dog. It has 275 horsepower but it feels like 180. One example is LONG, SOFT shifts even when I go at it. Might take over 1 second to get from 1st to 2nd if I jam on it. Where as, the auto in my car will make the shifts CRISPER when I go at it. Not to mention the gear and final drive ratios are MUCH tighter in my car. Trailblazer runs at under 2000RPM at highway speed. My car runs at or a little above 3000RPM at highway speed. Also, everything feels so much nicer. Tight steering, stiff brake pedal, all knobs and controls are nice and tight with no play. However, the Trailblazer is excellent as far as American SUVs go. Now moving from my car to my work truck, hahahaha. I can't believe some people PREFER driving trucks. They are slow and boring, holy crap. There's something about the Japanese sport compact. I used to hate Japanese cars. One drive in an RSX changed me. One drive in a RA and I knew I had to get it.
Can't wait to have it back. Never know how much you love something until it's gone.

I just can't imagine not driving my RA for more than a couple of days... even with the winter tires, the thing is so damn fun to drive!!!
