When normal driving the system is shut off and inactive. But when pulled over, at the touch of a button, the VCR and all cameras are activated with time stamp and date to record what goes on at the window as well as capture the identity of the cruiser in front of or behind them. I have a lot of respect and admiration for the police departments around the land and when we put this system together it wasn't to get one over on the police, but rather make sure they keep within the guidelines of the power they are given. Cruisers are being equipped with cameras to ensure the safety of officers from danger. But what happens to our rights as drivers when the danger to our good names and clean records happens to be the officer who didn't make his quota on tickets or is just having a bad day? For those able to afford such a system, I believe the peace of mind it gives you is worth more than the asking price.
i want one of those
