I HATE USPS!!! HELP PLEASE(again)
Here is a story for you guys. This is an update on my ebay help topic. Well he finally shipped the damn turbo out. So i have been tracking it online and as of friday it was still not here. So i left to go to work, which is on sunday cause i work for the seahawks. Anyway i got home today and checked my mail. There was nothing there that said they had tried to deliver it. So i am like WTF it should have been here either friday or saturday. So i get online and look the tracking number up and guess what. It comes up the package was DELIVERED on saturday. I am like HOLY **** WTF. So i call usps and talk to them for like half an hour. Turns out the bastard didn't get delivery confrimation on the turbo and the mail carrier on my route says he now thinks he might have dropped it off at a diff. address, even though the tracking number says its suppose to be delivered. So now what the **** do i do. This is such bs. Anyways what should i do, obviously i will talk to him tomorrow morning, but until then what should i do, lets here it please.
Thanks
Dustin
Thanks
Dustin
U have to contact your seller! then he have to call the post office and he have to settle it! Make sure you get a written or voice record of what the postman said cause that will help! I hope your shipper insured the package, and if you are lucky u might get your package back! if not at least get your money back or another turbo! Good luck!

yeah this nightmare just keeps going and going like the energizer bunny. More than likely the guy didn't insure the package, but i already email him and let him know whats going on. Oh and btw, DHL also sucks serious@$$ too. I was here all day today and they were suppose to deliver my racing harnesses today. So around 330 i check it online and sure enough what does it say, that its been delivered and someone by the name of j palmer had signed for it. And thats not my landlords name. So once again i was like WTF and called them up and asked why they didn't ring me and why they let some stranger sign for it. Turns out that this j palmer just walked into the mail room and the delivery girl just had him sign for it and he kept it until i came and claimed it. God i hate delivery services. This day really pissed me off cause the guy didn't send all the hardware needed to install the harnesses either.

Damn this turbo story of yours gets uglier by the minute! In your case, I'd understand if you said you only will shop at local stores the next time you wanna buy something... what a nightmare!
Well, hang in there buddy! I'm sure the shipping company has to be liable in some way for the delivery of the package, whether it's insured or not... or else, the delivery guys would just dump some packages on the street and go home to watch the game.
Anyway, if you ever get to the part where you can actually install the turbo on the car, let us know so we can celebrate with you!

Actually... I thought about that too but I didn't want to alarm him anymore!
I mean, what if the turbo comes in but now the casing is craked 'cause the guys at the depot played bowling with it before throwing it on the bottom of the truck?
Dustin... we all share your pain man!
