actually, i just wanted a solid daily driver that i could mod. And i didnt want no damn civic. EVO is pretty sweet though, I'm considering trading up next year. Ralliart is awesome for it's price though.

i wih i would have waited one more year and got a RA instead of my OZ not that i dont love it but the mmore power would have been nice if i could get an evo though.... who needs a house.. lol

My plan is to mod it with the plethora of RRM products, new rims and tires, and a stereo which I'm currently in the middle of piecing together. Already have Boston Acoustic Pro Components for the front highs, Boston Ralleys for rear and three Rockford Fosgate P3 12's... Just need to buy the Rockford BD1501 to power them and come up with an installation design...
I do want to own an Evol sometime in the next few years - but I want to have fun with my Ralliart until the day comes.

payments now:
Loan= $325. (roughly 19500 after 5 years)
insurance=$130/month (7800 after 5 years)
if i had an evo..
loan=580 (+/-) month (roughly 34800 after 5 years)
insurance= $240/ month (14400 after 5)
Yes, insurance on a turbo'd 35k dollar racecar will be higher than an 18k N/A family sedan. You can call your insurance company at any time and they will tell you the same. I had the lady who did mine run the numbers for an evo and that is roughly what we came up with. Those numbers are assuming that you don't have an accident, which we all know will make your insurance go up. But also, they could go down respectively. Regardless, thats nearly $7000 less after 5 years for the RA insurance alone. 15k difference on the loan. Hefty cash.
Add the insurance savings and loan savings together and you end up with about $22000 after the 5 years is up if you go for the RA. . You could make a RA completely badass for way less than half of that. only thing you wouldn't have is AWD, which sux, but it is definately tolerable.
I guess it really does boil down to simply having enough money to spend. If i had the cash for an evo? well, i'd probably atleast testdrive a couple of them. Having never driven one i can't say i wouldn't buy one. But my logical side would say buy the RA and have fun building it to my liking with the cash i have left over. RRM turbo...here i come!

2007 Nissan Skyline GT-R : Nissan says the next Infiniti flagship might not be a Q45 sedan replacement, and hints that the Skyline GT-R supercar that appeared as a concept in '01 could be the next flagship. And now the bad news: the GT-R won't launch until calendar year 2007.
