Getting really specific, one other thing I do sometimes is bring my left foot off the firewall brace and put it next to the door as if I was sitting on a stool, or kitchen chair. For some reason the bend feels good sometimes, BTW it's an auto, no need for the clutch foot.

When Im crusin on the freeway,I drive with my right hand one the lower right spoke of the steering wheel,my seat pretty much in the middle,I slouch and have my left hand on the door arm rest. When I need to shift I put my left hand on the top of the wheel and my right hand on the shifter, and let her rip...

oh yeah and when theres a little involved I tend to drive pretty damn cautious!

seat is very straight up...id say almost like a racing seat...left hand on top of steering wheel, and right hand always on shifter. And yeah, I can't believe I sat and read through two pages of how people drive their cars...

I'm 6'1", have the seat almost straight and lined up right beside the back of the B-pillar. Steering wheel is just about as low as it can go. Cruising, I've got my left elbow on the door armrest, index finger & thumb around the wheel between the 7 & 9 o'clock areas, right hand around 5 o'clock, thumb on the front and two fingers around the back. Use cruise control religiously.

When running the twisties, it's 10 & 2 all the way, shifting 1-2 or 3-2 with my middle 3 fingers, 2-3 with the thumb part of my palm, 2-1 with the outside edge & base of my palm.

I don't own a Lancer Ralliart but I am guessing you drive the same in all cars? I don't know how you can drive like that?

I am about 6' 2". I have a racing seat in my car fixed in position that has the seat tilted slightly (front of seat up and back down because actually backrest bit is fixed) and when I sit in it I can put my palm on the top of the steering wheel while keeping my sholder against the seat back bit and a slight bend in my arm. In other cars I set the seat up similar. With a helmet my head is about 1cm from the roof of my car, head room is not helped by my cars sunroof. My legs sometimes get a little cramped when I drive for a couple of hours but I just stretch them under the pedals and then they are ok.

My steering wheel isn't adjustable, and I really need it higher because I can't see the top of the speedo, but when I drive a car that has one I usually use the highest setting, a low steering wheel feels uncomfortable .

I hold the steering wheel usually with 2 hands just up from 9 and 3, sometimes on straight bits of road I rest my right (RHD car) elbow on the door sill while still holding the wheel with my right hand.

All of this means I can be relaxed when I am driving fast and stay upright and in position around corners. I don't know how you can drive with reclined seatbacks? Maybe I should try it?

I feel your pain. I'm stuck in a rental Buick Rendezvous (one of the hideously ugly mid-size SUV's) because they are repairing my jacked up bumper from when some **** backed into me.
