Exclamation Anybody Else Still Stock...?

<--- Right here...

I just got my christmas bonus from my job and I really wanna start buying and ish load of mods for my car. Thou, im just really afraid of losing my warranty. I know some mitsubishi don't care and other's do. I know my local mitsu just tell's me, "mod @ your own risk", now that sucks. I still smack up alot of cars around here stock, but I would really like to put a nice axelback angled exhaust and a CAI on my car. My old lancer es, had a bunch of mods to it, but it also didnt have a warranty (mitsu f*cked me on that & im still pissed), so I had to trade it in for something better. Im wondering what to do, to mod or not to mod... that is the question, haha.

Anybody else stock (gasp)...

I'm still stock! Only thing I have are the Mitsu aluminum pedal covers, and the Magnaflow exhaust tip. Other than that, mod free!

Do exactly what you said you wanted to do. Thats about as low risk as you can get, and still get some nice gains.

Yup, you'll be plenty safe with the exhaust, too. I can't think of any problems coming up with your car where Mitsu would try to claim the problem was because you're exhaust wasn't restricted enough.

I'm still stock. Really the only things I would seriously consider would be a turbo (not going to happen) or a piggyback ECU (wouldn't look forward to premium).
A CAI would be alright, but IMO would seem pointless in the -20 to -30 winters we have here. Do I really need -33C air going into the engine, rather than -25C air? lol.
Besides, i'm auto so my choices would be limited anyhow. I will likely stay stock, unless I get a higher paying job with more hours so I could afford a piggyback/premium.

yeah, completely bone stock here...i wish i had the money to spend on some mods, but I dont...now maybe with christmas coming up, my parents will come through...even then, I would make some real low risk mods...intake, exhaust etc...then maybe some new mitsu sport pedals, maybe a momo shift knob...who knows...but as of now, still STOCK.

My personal opinion is that the car has enough power as is, you just need to get it on the ground and handle better in the twists.. so i got almost all of the RRM suspension pieces.. I have to pick up a few more parts next time I am there

Still stock engine here. If I had my choice, I would do RRM CAI with Axel-back exhaust along w/ RRM suspension stuff. I would probably get 17 or 18" rims first with some new rubber......
