Ralliart with a EVO8 front license plate

Alright so i looked around, and couldn't find much on "how-to's" for this problem i'm having. Well it's not really a problem, i was just wondering if anyone tries to mount the EVO8 front license plate holder onto their RA (stock front bumper) yet? And if so what modifications did you have to do? And as for the old plate holes, i figured i would just cover them up with something, for example on the EVO8 how it has those two plastic black strips on the nose of the bumper...

Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks

I am interested in doing this, I just have had the time to mess with it. I would like to have my plate in the same location and not have it fall off. If you find out anything let me know.

Well I decide to do a DIY FMLP on my car. The evo plate holder won't work because they have screws on the side of the bumper, while ours is in the front.. so it's a no go. On the DIY.... i took my LP and put heavy duty scotch doublesided tape (holds up to 2lbs of weight) on the sides of the plate, and stuck it to the bumper, and it STUCK! I drove around the block and got up to 80mph (on closed road) and got back home, she still STAYED ON! I was surprised, Later that night (since I did my DIY this afternoon) Me and my g/f went to get something to eat and I drove, I checked my FMLP and it fell off, I think it was because the cold weather, it just wasnt sticky anymore, but i got a better plan and a better DIY, so ill update this tommorow

Big block of plastic.. a Dremel and some imagination... But chances are your idea is A) A bit lighter and B) a bit easier to do....

Take a look at my cardomain page below. I like what I did, others dont. It does not cause any overheating what-so-ever.

If those are little fog lights, it covers the other side for lights.

Yea.. i personally would have the plate higher up on the bumper so it wouldn't cover up the fog light.. I really want to get it done, buy i'm working on other things in the meantime... Is that a cup holder??

http://www.body-kit.com/lan04evo804.html

In this pic, which is the same kit I plan to get eventually, there's a strip of something where the license plate is suppose to go. I take it drilling into the bumper and using a nut and bolt to hold the plate in place is out.
