man.............so lame, my mitsu dealer closed down!!! they did not even send me any notice or like where to go when the "check up" date comes...... i dont' wanan void the warranty yet u know.....but damn....so lame.....have this happened to anyone here?

 

I doubt you'll be the first one this happens to. You'll just have to find your next closest dealership and have them do your scheduled maintenence. Sucks. =P

 

naw bro where you located small town ?? where im from theres mitsubishi dealers every where. Thats awkward for them not to give you a notice and them close down like that makes me wonder

 

i know.......i mean....i am in echo park, Los angeles, so i can always go to like...glendale for another dealer....but the thing i am worrying about is that they might reject me and stuff like that. but i think it's just kinda messed up that they didn't give me a notice or something. so yeah.....

 

mitsu dealer I went to said I was able to take my car to any mitsu dealer in america for the scheduled check ups. so I take it that is company policy.

 

I don't think they will reject you...I've always gone to a different mitsu dealer than where I bought from for service.

 

hey raceman was it the dealership in alahmbra? thats where i got my ride from and they closed down on me too. no notice or anything. now im prolly just gonna take my ride to a dealership in fullerton cuz i hang out there pretty often anyway.

 

my dealership was paired with mazda and the mitsu portion closed... the mechanics are still the same so i have been taking my RA there for its maintainces... they still send me letters in the mail when it is time... although if there are any warrantyissues i will have to go to mitsu

 

The Mitsu dealer in Saint John N.B. and Halifax N.S. in Canada both closed down. The closest one is 200KM away now.

 

hey here in hawaii, we have only 2 mitsu dealers. both on different islands so if the mitsu dealer here closes down, i'm screwed. the local caddy/GMC/Buick dealer is closing though. feel sorry for allthose escalades, cause there is no other caddy dealer in the state.

 

There used to be 3 dealers here in Austin. We're now down to one and it's way way on the far side of town from me.

 

200km----that's pretty far, right? Sorry, don't have my milage convertor in front of me! I always have to think in metric when I come to this site (or when I am working on the Mitsu)!!!

 

Uhh lets see, here in Ga, we had Peachtree Mitsubishi close down and also Mall of Ga Mitsubishi close down. Peachtree Mitsubishi has reopened now named Obiren Mitsubishi but Mall of Ga Mitsubishi is still closed. I would rather drive to obrien mitsubishi even though it is further away from me than to go to my closer Rick Case casue they are some straight up a$$es.

 

aite aite....i just went to another mitsu dealer today and done my check up. they said that the warranty goes with me no matter which dealer i go. So that's nice to know......i guess....thanks for all the replies!

 

I live in Pa, and the dealer near me closed down. Atleast the parts and service dept. Which sucks cause im not sure where the next Mitsu dealer is, I guess ill have to call them up or go on the website.
