Wiper blades?

Stock wipers are crapping out on me. The only problem is, I've never replaced a set of blades before in my life. I've heard PIAA is good, but I'm not sure. Any suggestions?

Personally, I don't really see the point in getting "nice" wiper blades, because they're all rubber and none last very long. For the winter I just run a set of Anco winter blades, since they have the sleeve over them to keep the joints from freezing. In the summer, just normal blades.

However, I have run the Trico Teflon blades in the past, and they did last noticably longer than normal blades, but they're expensive.

RainX is useful, too.

Exactly, theres no point in getting big name brand wiper blades. The kind that you can get up at your auto part store do fine. Some actually do last longer than others, (like otter stated above) but buying PIAA wiper blades is going a tad overboard if you ask me.

I believe tire rack supplies the type of wiper blade I have....i forget the name of them, but they have like 150 contact points across eh blade and work a ****load better than any other wiper blade i've ever used. They are also very unique looking due to the different design they use to put pressure from the blade onto the windshield.

Talking about the Valeo's? I wouldn't forgive myself for spending $80 on one set of wiper blades, that's obscene.

I didn't think they were 80.....but regardless...they are the best. You asked what the best wiper blades were...so there ya go.

Very Very good experiences w/ piaa blades. they are a little pricey, but i had them on my s-10 and they worked for a year and a half perfectly. i finally changed to a new set not cause the blades were bad, but cause the paint on them was faded. when i need new blades for my evo, i am definately switching to piaa's
( of course it helps that my friend works @ a shop that sells them so i get them @ employee cost!)
and no, the piaa blades are not rubber, they are silicon.

rainx also works on tail lights, and keeps the slush from building up as bad on headlights.

I have PIAA blades on my ralliart and love them, i have a friend that uses them on his rally GTI. He says they wipe away the dirt and mud even after a full season of rally cross. They are a little expensive but well worth it.
