Unhappy Please Tell Me I'm Wrong....

I keep looking at the new Mustangs and seeing that they are only 25 grand I've considered trading in my RA for one.

Please somebody tell me how wrong I am for even considering this. I love my RA too much. I feel like I've already cheated on her by letting these thoughts in my head. I'm gonna go outside right now and give her a hug. Even is she doesn't know what it's for.

In the end, there is something always gonna be better than what you have...regardless. I guess it all boils down to whether or not you are happy. I have had my doubts and hypothetical "dreams" in knowing I could have gotten something better, but in the end it's your car and you drive it. Get something you want or be content with what you have. But, IMO, you will never be satisfied if you are always looking for something better and looking down upon what you have. Don't know if any of that makes sense but thats my .02. You need to look at the upsides to your car...like the warrenty, insurance cost, mpg, mivec, tune capability, etc, etc...

Trust me, I don't look down on my car by any means. I love it. I've also always wanted a Mustang since I was a little kid. When they went to ugly @ss style back in 95 or 96 I got seriously turned off. Now that they've went back to the old school original look I've fallen back in love. Maybe if they just made the price over 30 grand I wouldn't be having these thoughts. The bastards!

THat price must be for the V6's - then you can be like every other midlife crisis 40 something out there in their slow, common car.

actually i think that 25k is the starting price for the v8's, good luck finding one @ that price though. if anything, wait at least one model year to make a decision. all the bugs will be worked out, and you should have more cash to buy anyway.

Yeah, looks like the best sticker price is gonna be around 28-29. It's also got a nice sound system, not that that is the selling point for me. I think this would be the only car that I would ever buy in red, if you consider the maroon red.

The ONLY mustangs i like were the 92-94 GT styles. Only had 205 hp but weighed about 2100 lbs, they were tough looking, yet simple. But I wouldnt buy domestic cars if my life depended on it. (unless it was a viper)

You are right, the new mustangs look really nice, but another good point is that it is a Ford. Don't do it.
