Go to your local automotive store and pick up a tin of Nevr-Dull (that is the actual spelling). It is in a blue and red tin. The actual product looks like strands of cotton. All you have to do is wash the vehicle and then grab a small amount of this and rub the exhaust. After it will look all cloudy, grab a rag (clean) and wipe it clean and it will look perfect.

i think the exhaust is S.S but with the amount of salt and sand they put down it doesn't really matter. Going to go buy some nevr dull right now.

Its fine I did it and nuthing caught on fire :P, then again when I'm driving I can't really see my muffler.

It will be fine. Make sure though that you don't rub it against your bumper or anything painted. It will make it very dull and gross looking very quick.

just once in a while, drive into a coin-up car wash and wash ur car...under too, to get off all the salt and stuff. sure it may sound stupid to wash it and get it dirrty 3 days later but it can help in the long run
