yeah mine are heated too. the mirrors are totally expensive, i think my buddy Chris told me like $250 per side, insano cost.
as far as taiwanese mirrors, are they rhd cars there? if they are, the mirrors will be useless on a lhd car as the angles are impossible to set up to see properly in them. there's a big thread about the MR mirrors and how they won't work on our North American models since we are all lhd cars here.
yeah.

Really? Any one else in U.S. with heated mirrors? This is pissing me off! We got 2 feet of snow and people in Texas get heated mirrors? What gives, Mitsu?

Thanks Dallas. Yes, I'm certain I don't have them. I even took apart my old mirror (broken) to make sure it wasn't a blown fuse or something. They are not heated. (Plus they're frozen - only way to get the ice/snow off is with a scraper)

Hmmm ... could have been an assembly error. I remember a 2g Eclipse having those Talon air ducts under the steering wheel. On Eclipses, they were not adjustable, but that Eclipse had it from the factory.

So, yours could have been half Canadian
