B&M shifter or Works?

I hear about the works shifter. however I can get B&M through a local distributor. I can get the 43100 not adjustible for 113.00 or the adjustible for 154.00. How much is the works shifter?

and If anyone has the B&M or works. what do they think about them?

from www.worksevo.com

15% and 30% Throw Short Shifter = $129 with OEM-style replacement carrier cap so you don't have to hack your stocker to bits or buy another one for $15...

you can also get them with the OEM endcaps for and extra $7 total. So $129 or $136.

Seems to be a pretty reasonable price and I've been debating this too. Looking forward to the replies...

From one of my previos posts:
Quote:
Freddie1111I think that for $109, the Lancershop.com kit is the one to get. It comes with everything you need, even the plastic retainer piece. Plus, the bushings are brass and fit perfectly. Best bang for the buck IMO. Only drawback is the freakin' metal ball shift knob gets so damned cold I can't even hold it. I'm having it covered in leather.
This comes with shifter, knob, underhood brass shifter bushings, shifter base bushings (also brass) and plastic retainer (so you don't have to cut the stock shifter)
I love it. .02

I'm pretty happy w/my Works 15% throw reduction. I bought the counter-weighted shift knob too.

It does in fact come with the shifter surround because you can't get the stock one off without cutting it. I also bought the endcaps because it's hard to take off the OEM one's without cracking them.

As long as you're at it, no matter what brand you buy, you should get some new shift linkage bushings and shifter base bushings. This really stiffens thing up.

Alright. so I stil lhave no idea what I want. However I was looking through the RRM website and they list the Energy bushings. My shop is direct with energy. Do any of the kits come with the bushings or is that a add on? I know I can get it threw my shop for cheap. but if it comes with one kit its something I don't have to deal with ordering ****. anyway.

Thanks everyone for help. I'm not sure what the B&M shifter exactly comes with. the distributor can't explain it well. and I am pretrty sure it doesn't come with the end caps and what not. so I will probably be gonig with the works I beleive. I'll have to look at the lancer shop a little more. the thing is the short throw. man thats gonig to be short. I thought it was tight as hell in the first place. compared to my 2 other cars. though the stock civic shirters suck. I had a B&M for that but enver installed it and am selling that caer now.

man I can't wait for more stuff to come out for this car. Its such a nice car

Another plug for the Lancershop kit, it's the best value out there and works great.

EDIT: i didn't mean to recommend lancershop, i was thinking of another short shifter that i got off ebay for like 20 bucks and the thing works great. they had a sight called lancer something i think.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33736

kinda like that, but not the same one. don't overpay for a shifter when a cheaper one really will work just as well.
