how hard would it be to swap out for those HID's they are HOTT!

No wonder why mitsubishi always seems to be going under.... they keep all the good Sh*t for Jp Island.

I emailed Japanparts.com about the HID's, my guess is they should almost be a direct swap... atleast the housing, i'm not 100% sure how the HID works.... so... i'll let you know what they reply.

 

I want those seats, that is it, the rest of the JDM ralliart is ok, I like haveing a bigger NA 4cyl, I think the car over all is great but having ralliart recaros would rock.

 

Those gimmick stuff works in Japan, because there is a market for niche stuff. Niche stuff won't survive in America.

The GDI won't ever fly in the US. It won't pass emmisions.

I agree with blk-majik. GDI has lower emmisions but not quite the same HP potential yet. That's why we get MIVEC and they used too. Now we get MIVEC and later on (if they survive) we'll end up with it. Some of the magazines are saying the EVO IX or X might have GDI. It's all speculation untill it hits the dealership though...
I wouldn't mind getting the HID headlights though. We have a 110 amp alternator so I'm pretty sure the RA can handle it!

Hey here are some pics that I got off the japan mitsu page, I could only get a couple of pages translated to english through google, but I did find these things. I wish they would offer them to us. Some of what I found is that they offer HID looking foglights to go with the HID, foglights can be turned on with parking lights, chrome mesh grill(dont know if they offer that to us), chrome mirrors,keless entry on the keys(like lexus) and they can roll the windows down with the keyless. I want to find out if we can get any of this. Maybe even a wiring diagram for the fogs....hmm
