Question

I have a question for the RA owners. Does your insurance company claim your RA as a sports sedan? or... Do you pay for a sports sedan' insurance?

Before anyone say repost and search...
Im planning on trading my 03 oz for a Ralliart.

In my area it's classified as a base Lancer(oz,es) there was no Ralliart in the system. I think it's changed because I just got my renewal and it's up quite a bit probably just my accident *write off* catching up to me

I think that was the issue when most of us bought our RA's. It didn't have it's own clissification just yet. Best bet is to call a couple insurance companies and see what they say.

I looked into getting a used WRX before I got my ralliart and the insuranse wasn't too bad on that so I didn't even think about the insurace when I got my ralliart. It turns out the ralliart has higher insurance then the WRX for some reason.

Yes, you should. Insurance won't be much more, and you'll have a LOT more fun with an RA.

BTW, on my insurance, it's listed as a Ralliart. They've figured it out.
