I normally get about 240 to 250 out of a tank before the light comes on. I go to fill up the tank and it only takes 10 gallons. In the manuel they say we have like a 13.2 gal tank. Does the light really come on with 3 gals left in the tank or what's the story with that? I bought my RA a month ago and have about 1300 miles on it right now. If the tank really is 13.2 then I should be getting aobut 325 to the tank but I don't know how far I can push it past when the light comes on. Anyone have any input?

Gottcha. I hate having a new car that you don't know how far you can push it past the light. We have road-side asst. but you feel like a complete dumb @$$ calling them to bring you gas. I haven't had to do that yet and I don't plan on it. If I get 240 easily out of 10 gals then I should be good for at least 300 on on tank.

hah! i wish i got as much mileage out of my car as you all talk about. i'm lucky to get 250 but i think that's cause i drive my car pretty hard most of the time. i did stretch it to 320 something but i only had .5 gallons left when i filled 'er up.

my suggestion...get a little gas can and drive until you run out of gas...then you'll know.

My mileage isn't all that great but I also live in the mile high city. High elevation = bad mileage. I run mostly highway too but it's in rush hour so it's just like city driving. STOP GO STOP GO STOP GO!!!!!!!! I hate traffic. I was thinking about running with a small gas can in the car but there is something about having a gas can in my car that I just don't like.

I have 20,000 miles on my car. I drive an easy 400+ a week. My light comes on around 265-275 miles, and I stop for gas when it hits 300-310.The worse millage I ever get is 25.5, but I usually get around 27-27.5. I do about 75% freeway driving.

i have driven alot with the light on. i figure weather your stop and going i'd say you have about 50-70 miles , on the highway you may get more depending on how fast your driving
if your driving 80mph you may only get 50-60miles if your going 50-60 probably close to 75miles. just my thoughts

I figured that was the case with the light but you never know. I'm just trying to figure out why the make it go off so early. Seems a little much to me.
