AEM is looking for a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart manual transmission vehicle for fitment verification. The vehicle must be located in the Las Angeles area and must have the stock air intake on it. The install should take no longer then 2 hours. um, 04 should be fine. no mechanical changes that i'm aware of.

 

dammit..why isnt there anything like that in canadaa.. 8( maybe they can test a for a REALLY COLD air intake

our air will show if the intake can withstand extreme coldness =)

 

take mine! It's an o4, same engine and model.. no change from o4-o5 cep't exterior!

 

hmm, i though AEM already made an intake. if u take it in, beat them over the head for high-lift cams and cam gears and ill be ur best friend =)

hold up, it says on the website that it is already available for the MANUAL, dont you need AUTOMATIC??

 

"fitment verification"... maybe they just want to make sure that it still fits the 05? well take your 04/05 and get a free intake... don't argue with the man.

They're probably just wanting to verify 100% that it'll fit. Some lucky sap with an '05 is going to get a free intake, just like someone did in 04.

This is for 2005 vehicle fitment verification. OEM's tend to change small things that many may not pick up on. They may move a small breather hose or have a new headlight fixture that looks the same on the outside but is differant under the hood. For this reason we try to fit all intakes on all the model years covered. This is something we started in 2004 and plan on continuing it (it can be quite a pain getting all the vehicles). Anyway, I am still searching for an 05 model if anyone is interested. Thanks
