I need to know how does the Ralliart would compare against a few vehicules that I will list here.
Ralliart vs Nissan SPEC V
Ralliart vs Corrolla XRS
Ralliart vs Mini Cooper S
Ralliart vs Vw GTI 1.8Turbo.
How would be the 0-60 mph performance compare to those cars.
Handling which one is better.
Don't post a reply if you didn't try one of those cars. I don't want to have fanboys saying Ralliart is the god or kind of phrase like that.
Let me know what are your thoughts.
Thanks guy's...

Well your asking a bunch of ralliart owners about thier car so you will get fanboys.
Anyways toss up between Spec V and Ralliart they are almost identical in performance the spec v has a LSD and better tread "stock".
For handling stock the Cooper S it's like a damn go cart (I own one)

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=124277 That should have answered your questions for at least two of the cars, go to car websites and read reviews about them, cause i am sure you wont find many people on this board that have test drove a mini.
I know that I will not find somebody that has tried every car I named.
I just want to know the impression of somebody that drove any of the car of my list.

these pages might help you:

for Ralliart vs Mini Cooper S, there's an article in MotorTrend (last months) that compared the Ralliart with the Mini Cooper S, the Scion TC, the Mazda 3, and the Ford Focus ST

I havnt driven the XRS yet, but if the suspension is setup like he other carollas, then the RA has the edge in handeling and comfort. It wasnt available when I got my car, but if it was, i probably still would have gotten the RA. its the only car on that list that i havnt raced. Ive beat all the others more than they have beat me.
The GTI's are nice and they are a good platform for mods. i would only consider the hatch, and im not much for hatches. not too bad to work on any more either.
the SpecV is ok if you get it new. They had major issues the first few years with fuel delivery which resulted in several blown stock engines. that was my 2nd pick when i got my car.
The mini is...well....a mini. a good novelty car, handles like a dream, really nice interior. but smaller and...well....in my opinion, at least, more often driven by girls or girly men (i think they call themselves metrosexuals)
dont get me wrong, they can be bad *** cars with little effort. but just like when ur born, when u buy a car, u stereotype urself =)

spec dosen't have fuel issues it was a pre cat failure.and they still have problems.i have a 02 the first thing you need to replace is motormounts to get rid of wheelhop.premium fuel only, rides rough and the paint sucks. they mod good pti makes turbo kit for them.my best at the 1/8 mile is 9.6 at 73 with a 2.2 60 ft.the 05 have a new ecu most stock dynos see about 145 to 150 whp and 160 165 tq.i like mine but wish i still i had my turbo lancer.

The XRS still uses (I think it's) struts up front and torsion beam rear. However, the XRS also has this front brace made by Yamaha that helps the car out a bit. Also, suspension is tuned way sportier than the S model of the Corolla (or the LE, etc.).Originally Posted by blk-majik

Plus, the XRS has the same engine that's in the new Lotus Elise. 1.8L VVTi super high revving engine. Still putters around town, but once you hit the really high 6000-8000rpm range, apparently it takes off.

The toyota has no torque. The VW is fast after 3rd gear but will lose to the ralliart 0-60 and possably in the 1/4 mile. The spec-v is the same as the ralliart but it's harder to launch (17 inch wheels and a lot of torque = wheel hop) but both do equaly well in the 1/4 mile. And I don't know anything about the mini.

I'd say that on that list the only car that will definitively beat the RA in every catagory is the Mini. Spec is so close it's almost it's twin, and the 'dub I don't know enough about to say anything, other than having just seen test figures.

I have driven all five of the cars, here is my opinion, spec v and ralliart are about idencticle when driving, the ralliart felt faster, the golf gti has a really soft suspension compared to the ralliart, power pretty similar, the xrs I hated, up shifting down shifting all of the time, the ralliart has power across the entire rpm band, suspension is not as good as the lancer either, Cooper S is a blast I will admit that but if you have more than one friend or have friends that offer to drive you around the back seat is not the best place to be. Plus the mini and the GTI have reliability issues the ralliart does not have and, correct me if I am wrong, all but the ralliart require premium fuel, that can get expensive after a while.

im not sure about the fuel, but it would be a suprise if they all needed premium. one thing about the VW is that if you get the 1.8T, you can just crank the boost up
dont go too high, but i think the stock setup holds an extra 6lbs /w no problem. check that before you do it =) factory turbo is always nice, warranty wise

I did a little research, the local toyota and nissan dealerships both told me the corolla xrs and spec v should rum premium fuel and miniusa.com and vw.com both state that the Cooper s and 1.8 GTI should run the expensive stuff.

My friend has a spec v. We haven't raced yet, but I know his car is pretty quick. Plus that 6th gear is nice. He ran a high 14 at the strip all stock. Didn't get past 3rd gear. Our handling seams much better.
