the evo 8 wing you get off of ebay requires drilling holes, the ones you get from the dealership dont.

 

The Evo8 wing will fit on an 04-05 Ralliart. Holes do have to be re-drilled to make it fit. The front holes will line-up, the rear holes you will have to re-drill. I have an Evo8 wing on my car and it looks better than the non-carbonfiber wing. The non-carbonfiber wing only comes in certain colors, so I really had no choice. Plus I saved a lot of money anyway!! Well, I have the proof to back up my claim, so!! The install is very easy. The new holes that are drilled go under the bump stops for the trunk. To remove the bump stops for the trunk, you just unscrew them with you hands. You will kick yourself in the *** for not getting the carbonfiber wing.

 

Well, I AM getting the carbon fiber wing. I've had the bump stops off and i see how easy it is to remove the wing. The guy I'm swapping with really wants to be sure about fitment. I told him we could do a preliminary swap to see how things fit. I need to know how a ralliart wing will look on an EVO and more importantly that it will fit.

 

from wht i heard it will fit and i think there is someone on here tht has a small wing like ours on there evo but im unsure....but i dont see y it wont fit considering the evo wing will fit on our cars.

 

I've seen an Evo with a Ralliart wing on it, so I know it can be done, and didn't look half bad really, and since lookslikeanevo knows his $hit, I'd have to say yes, direct swap no-drilling it is.

 

The Evo guy will have to run wires for the 3rd brake light in the wing. Maybe you can get him to give you his third brake light with the swap.

 

Don't know if I really care about the third brake light. Don't know if even the cops would pick it up.
