Unhappy Hail

ok so yesterday im over at this girls house ( lives real close to me) and this huge storm comes through. ITs rainig like no other but i wasnt really worried. Then the hail came. And boy did it come. Softball sized hail. Im at her house and windows are breaking, everyones freaking out and all i can think about is my brand new LB '05 Ralliart. i didnt dare go outside b/c tht crap would knock me out, but after it went i got back outside and there are millions of tiny little round dents all over the hood, roof, and down the right side of the car (funny how the plastic stuff like the wing and front bumper are fine).... im so bumed...insurance company is worthless...so i was thinking about buying a CF hood from carbontrix to replace the hood, but i dont know what to do about the rest of the car. Im not to worried about the doors but are the quarter panels and hood replaceable or is the shop going to have to cut them off? Thanks for the input.

I think removing hundreds of hail dents with one of those little things would make him insane.

insurace is bs the first week I have my car someone turned into a parking spot hit my bumper scuffing it. ok.. I can live with that. but I was at work and someone slide into my car and hit the dog leg and dented it good. Im glad this missed my rim. but I called the insurance company and said they don't cover that. I wasn't in the car and they were both drive offs! ahhh

well this is what the told me. There is a premium full coverage thats $20 a month basically that will cover the deductible for those type of things. What the hell am I paying for then. I pay $1500 a year for what? to always have a $500 deductible when I get a small dent from carlessness. yet that extra $20 will cover all chips from rocks in the paid and all door dings? Im thinking about it cuz someone jsut dinged my door. they'd be fixing my car everyother week for that damn $20.

o and our insurance company...we have never filied a claim in 15 years... $1,000 deductible...plus they jack up our rates like no other after this, our neighbor had the same thing happen with the same people and she ended up having her rates rasied to 450 bucks a month!

If you've never filed a claim in 15 years AND you have a $1000 deductible, I can't imagine them upping it because of natural causes?! I mean c'mon, what's the point of having insurance if you're not going to use it. You've probably paid like $20,000 over those 15 years!!!

Make the claim, get it fixed, then dump your insurance company. Sounds to me like they suck and you're getting ripped off. For 15 years and no claims, you insurance should be cheap as dirt with $100 deductables.
