Which intake?
Which intake?
I know most of you have been over this question several times but if you're willing to help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it. Here's the situation... i'm buying an intake any day. Should I go with the SRI or the CAI?
Here is what I'm considering:
Difficulty installing/taking out
Price (not that important but somewhat)
Performance (very important)
ETC (such as CEL, problems with weather, etc... anything else you can think of)
Thanks a lot in advance... I really want to make sure I make the right decision!

Can't tell you what to do, I'll just tell you how I decided: CAI = more power and less noise.
I read a bunch of threads, and other forums, and CAI seems to be the way to go for non-turbo cars.
But for your list:
1. Ease of install = SRI
2. Cost = SRI
3. Performance = CAI
4. Other = noise (CAI) weather (SRI) CEL (neither will affect)

I ran the SRI and the CAI, there is more than a hum, anything above 3500 and it will be loud. Some people may find it annoying but I love it
If you don't step on it and drive sensibly you can hardly hear it slight whistling.

and if you not really liking the CAI you can convert it to short ram. I have the Injen one and I've tried both.
