He still has stock 16s? If so, he will win fairly handily. He does have 38 more crank HP.

little off topic

Ok, lemme get one thing straight here, I personally dont care (as a moderator) whether you guys race on or off the track, hell ive done it too. Just dont say stuff like "Me and this camaro were racing on the highway and he pussied out on me after i got up to 125" etc etc. Basically, dont make it look obvious that you were "street racing". Simply say something like, "This rsx wants to race against me, how bad will he beat me?" Just my two cents, ok back on topic.

Well...how's your tires? Get a good hole shot, and you won't lose by too much. With his extra hp and higher redline, not a good chance right now. But work on getting an intake and headers, then see what you got then. Good luck.

Who knows? Maybe he misses second, or gets a bad start. Anything can happen. Just run it and see what happens. As long as you aren't racing for pink slips or a ton of cash... just run it baby!

definitely?....nope...depends on how the race is set up...on a 1/8 it would be a drivers race...on 1/4 then the ivtec kinda takes over...but still close if you can take advantage of the cars TQ....

whats the best time for a stock RSX-s? 15.1 and the RA?...15.4...drivers race...

rsx is a nice HP beast but lacks on tq to get it goin...which is what mitsu enignes are know for...

Ive ran 3 type-s - o3, o4 and o5.

o3: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th was all me... i shut down @ 95ish... i beat the driver.
o4: 1st, 2nd, 3rd was all me... he missed 3rd (i have it on vid)
o5: 1st, 2nd was all me... 3rd he pulled 1/2 and 4th he pulled 1/2... he shut down shortly after.

The key is a good launch + perfect shifts, redline 1st, shift 6100 every next gear. Not saying ull win (you need more MODS), but if you do everything right, it should be a close race, if he is a good driver, your toast. You can def beat the driver, not the car.

When it comes to cars, even the worst drivers can get a hold of a fast car, show them why they shouldn't be racing.

first i would put the stock wheels back on cause u are already at a disadvantage from your lower hp. 1/8 would be drivers race because u would get a big jump on him from the start because of your low end torque and then he would start to catch up and pull. to beat him in the 1/4 it would probably take intake and downpipe or intake and piggy w/ your stock 16s to take him(assuming he's stock). they are really good top end cars and 3rd gear is suppoesed to be where their vtec pulls the strongest. do u know what year he is? if he is an 05(the ones w/ the smoother headlight shape) the it will be harder. might take I/DP/Piggyback to take him if 05. but like arithmetic said stock vs stock it is possible to take him if u are a good RA driver and he is an average/bad rsx-s driver(can't keep in powerband/vtec)

He knows your stock & if he knows the car then, understands that he has a numbers advantage... Just race & see what happens...!!! Try to do the best you can as the driver & see how it ends up!!! Good luck!!!
