(sigh) more of this stuff again. stealership........ha...ha...ha that is soooooo original. c'mon fellas (and ladies) first of all every deal is DIFFERENT if you are rolling monies into the deal then the dealership is prolly hiding some of it in the price so they can absorb it into their deal to make their books and accountants happy, bottom line is payment im no millionaire its my payment!!! if i can afford the payment then whats the problem? i do this everyday guys its the deal not the price and we havent even started in on INTEREST yet. i love when dealerships get killed for this cuz THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!!!!!!!! banks set your rate based on your score not dealerships!!!!!!!!!! if one person's price on their paperwork is 22,000 and anothers is 17,000 but both have payments of 300 a month who got the better deal? its not rocket science people its just math.

14.5k otd during a big Mitsu cash-back deal. I also got 1k off for already owning an eclipse and my dad bargained the fleet dealer down with the help of another dealer who really needed a sale.

Got my 04 Ralliart down to about $14,800. They took off the rebates for the 04s when I got mine so I probably could have gotten it lower if I went 3 weeks ago when they still had rebates.

Today I got a red Lancer Sportback Ralliart for $15.2 K out the door. Your going to have to work to get it though. I came in with newspaper ads and value estimates off the web.
The first dealer in Ontario was jacking me arround hardcore. We ended up walking out on them, twice!!! Some dealers want to play their dumb sh*t games tell 'em to go play with themselves and take your buisness and money somewhere else.
I talked to San Bernardino and got great service and a good deal. But be prepared to stand by the price you want to pay. I might have gotten to $15K but I just got to the point of wanting the deal done and getting the car.
