Do ES's come with ABS? is that why you hit the other car or something else? Hope ur car is not totalled so u can fix that baby right back up and get on the road.

^I don't think our ES's do. Least mine doesnt have ABS.

Newayz, damn man, sorry to hear this. WTF is going on? so many lancer folks are getting into accidents, its crazy. I got into an accident about a few months ago, before the end of 2004, and man, I feel for your pain. I know how it felt when I got into an accident with my ES, and I was seriously pissed and the same time a bit depressed. But man, that really sucks, yer car was lookin mad pimp with all the mods you did, and this bull**** had to happen. Man, but keep yer head up man, hopefully things will work out.

 

Dont feel so bad I had about 4 accidents in 3 months time, one my fault and the other not at fault, so my car is under some major construction right now.

 

The ES, OZ Rally and LS don't come with ABS. I think the LS might have it as an option.

 

damn that sucks... the cop coulda been a di-k and gave you a 5 point ticket for following too closely...

if i were you... i wouldnt go thru insurance... if you wanna pay an extra $50+ a month for a couple of years and think its worth it then go ahead...

iw ould check out this site, ebay, accolade, and others to find the parts for cheaper. many people on this site are selling parts for you car so check it out and see whats around... i would do that first before filing a claim with your insurance...

uhm..howcome my car has an abs light??? lo.l..are u guys sure we dont have abs? and yeah..ill be asking around..for parts..but i already went thru the insurance..coz i was deperessed...i really want my car fixed.. im putting up another thread in show-shine.. just before my car got into an accident.. i was taking pictures.. not knowing it would be the last.. im looking at it now.i feel so bad..

I feel for you!!!! I remember when some idiot 16 yr old ran a light and crashed up my front end... I wanted to beat him up in the cop car but i was injured! BUT I do know where he lives! The good thing was I did get my rim replaced since it was "damaged" in the accident ... that was the only good thing that came out of it all... But at least you are ok .. car is replaceable.. your not! Write that down ! Anyway I am here for ya!!!
