what is the difference between the evo 7 and 8 wing, i ask this because i bought i evo 8 body kit for my ralliart and im not sure what wing it came with the guy selling it said it was the evo 8 but i don't beleive him .on the side of the wing it has a removeable peice where you bolt the wing together and i thought the evo 8 wing has carbon fibre in the middle .this wing also does not have a third brake light does the evo have that in the back window? thanks for any info.

 

the evo 8 wing has carbon fiber in the middles and on the inside of the side panels the evo 7 doesn't and no, none of the evo wing have a brake light on them

 

crap, wish I knew how to post pics on this forums, but sorry, me dunno how. but I think the real difference is the look on the sides of the wing. least that's how I tell the difference. go to accolade's site and look at the evo 7 kits wings for the 02-03 lancers and compare them to the evo 8 kit wing for the 04's.

 

It also depends on if it is an OEM CF evo 8 wing, cuase you might have one made out of ABS or soemthing. But yea just go look at pics of the evo 7 and evo 8 wing, the difference is obvious on the side peices. Just read you mentioned the side pieces, if it has has the side caps where you bolt the pecieces to gether, then it probaly is a Fiber Glass spoiler.

 

Here is a pic of my VII wing, the parts on the side are removable to adjust the tilt of the wing. The VIII wing is not adjustable.
