Back to the Dealer for Repairs

So i brought the car into the dealership this morning for suspension clunking and shifter problems. They called me in the middle of the day around 2ish, and told me that the car was ready to be picked up and that they had ordered the parts already and i had to come back to get them installed and the car repaired. They replacing the shifter cables and a tie rod? i think that's what he said, i have to double check on the tie rod part, i have the paper somewhere in my room. They're fixing it all because it's under warranty, and they didn't ask any questions. Now i just have to consider whether it's worth putting my intake back in or just waiting until it's all fixed.

I'd just wait. Put it on after you get the car fixed and get it back.

It's better to wait and play it safe. Don't risk it, besides, how much extra does an intake get you... not much.

yea i was looking at the intake, and i'ma clean it up a bit. There's some dust buildup on the cone (cleaned it like a month ago) and on the piping, i'ma wash it off and reoil the filter.

no grinding into third, but occasional grinding into 2nd and 4th when at high rpm'd shifting. I just checked the reciept and they said they're replacing the Driverside front Tie-rod because there was a large amount of play in it, and the shifter cables because they were binding... Not sure as to how long the parts will take to ship in but i'ma keep my car stock for now. For some reason i noticed a major decrease in mpg on my car...

what kind of suspension clunking are you experiencing? I've got problems with my rear suspension, although I suspect it may be coming from the control arms...

front clunking, when i hit a bump while in gear and not accelerating, or when i take a turn and hit a bump with that tire. It's a powerful enough clunk that i feel it through the clutch pedal even when not engaged

i would just leave if off , but usually if the intake is not what is causing the probelm then it should not hurt the warranty. meaning if you went threw a deep puddle or something and you got hydrolock and then took your car in they would probably say your **** outta luck. but yes it is better to play it safe.
