I hope this write up will get other companies on the band wagon with RRM. I believe the Ralliart isn't getting it's fame because it got some bitter-sweet write ups in its debut year. Ever write up I've read, did praise the Ralliart, but guess what they did, they compared it negatively to the Evolution! You just can't compare the Ralliart to Evolution. "The Evo can do this... the Evo can do that..." There are things the Evolution can do that high-price cars can't do.
it wasnt a writeup. it was an add for RRM's products. Shows the RA has vendor-specific support. We do need some writeups though. I know some guys on here are 'spnosored' in their RAs by some mags, but still no real writeups. If they guys /w worked RAs do contact the mags, its only a matter of time b4 something is published. TTPR was published in supercompatico mag in puero rico (spanish) and the article was VERY good. Did alot for him, but little for the car. either way, if the worked cars are shown, its good for us all. dont expect manufactures to scour the earth through foreign mags. i think we need to do something WITH the ralliart, not something TO the ralliart. race it: autox, drag, rally-x, road, etc.... if we can race it and...not win, but beat something respected....we will get respect and support.
related sidenote: ive been jamaica all week and talked to alot of people about lancers. The JDM lancers are very common over here (almost every car is a used japanese car). I saw lots of old JDM evos 4's and 6's, and tons of JDM fwd lancers. The Lancer GTXi's are popular, but they dont have any above a 1.8L other than the evo (same story in most of the world). Didnt see any JDM 1.8T ralliarts
WHen I spoke of the USDM 2.4L MIVEC ralliart, they all though it was the best thing ever and wanted me to ship mine over in a few months to enter aRally Jamaica 2005! lol! www.rallyjamaica.com. its one of the hardest (3day) rallys in the world and i never did one! (Btw, I will be in jamaica every 2 or 3 months for the rest of the year). maybe i should get some practice and find a sponsor to ship my car
