Anyway, at first I thought this was an Evo thread, and I was gonna laugh... I've only driven one Ralliart, and didn't race a thing in it, so... I would bet money if it's an Auto you'll stomp it... other than that, it's hard for me to say.

I beat a 4.6 V8 mustang but the driver sucked. I have also beaten several V6 mustangs. They suck. Don't forget, a ralliart is a lot faster then your o.z.

 

Well, if it's a 5.0 it's really hard to say who'll win. Some are beat up POS's, and some may look like POS's, but happen to still be running right. I just raced a 5.0 at Cecil County Dragway on friday and he pulled a 14.001 (he had dipped into the high 13's on an earlier run.) His only mods were a CAI and underdrive pullies. He probably had an aftermarket muffler, but it wasn't anything special. It just happens that the previous owner took real good care of it (and maybe made some mods that he doesn't know about). But that being said, it could be a beat up 5.0 that has trouble pulling low 15's, or a V6 that has trouble pulling 16's. There's only one real way to find out who'll win. I like finding out firsthand (usually because I end up surprising them with a nice view of my rear end.)

r u a ralliart driver? coz u seem to have the mentality of a stang driver...take it easy! id give ur car a run with my OZ if we can meet up...dont get to cocky...the reason i asked is because ive experienced them stangs messing with my OZ and id like to know how ralliarts beat them suckas

If you really won't to embarrass him race him on foot for 50 feet. Cause most likely he going to stomp it and start spinning giving you the jump on him. Unless he has a torque converter. Then he may get cha.

 

wait a second? a 1997 Mustang? it's slower than dirt, even with a V8. i didn't think they fixed those motor probs until around 1998 or 1999. i could beat an older (1995-1996) mustang GT in my stock V6 camaro..
