Monday went to go wash the RA and this little old man came over to me and said he really liked my car. He went on to say that he has a 98 Lancer at home. I guess he mean't a Galant. He asked what I paid for it and was just licking the paint off my car. Last night I went back to the Mitsubishi dealer to drop off my cat and old airbox for my 02 Lancer and ran into a guy with a black RA. We were at a stoplight and he looks over and we nod to each other. My g/f was like WTF? She said she thought we were both nodding our heads to the music. I told her it was a Mitsubishi thing between guys.

 

That's funny. Do a quick search, there are at least 2 MAJOR threads on this very subject...

 

People in my town are dumb. I get no respect for my car other than it being clean. Then some real dumb dumbs will shout, "hey, nice Civic man!"

 

GOAH! everyone in my town is a civic and accord fan. Makes me so mad. lol all the way!

 

yeah, I live in a really small town, and no one turns their head when I drive by, not even with my aftermarket stereo. This one time a small fat kid about 12 walked by and said, "whoa, it's an evo!!!" stupid kid. When I was getting a car, the dealer tried selling me a honda civic, I was like does the world need another civic? I hate almost all hondas except the s2000 and prelude.

No doubt...don't ever move to Alabama if you are wanting your car to get noticed. You either have to have a huge truck (only noticed because you are about to get ran over) or a car with hugh rims.

I notice other cars because I want to race. I think I'm the only one who notices the other Lancers. OZ though, no RA's.

 

I'm in the middle of nowhere here in AZ and there are 6 RA's here. 4 are in a club. I used to like being different and folk thinking it had no power.

Hey man i was just in Guntersville a while back. I know what you mean, it was a real culture shock for me, growin up in cali and all but it was crazy. I didnt see any cars except ONE old school accord with a bodykit.

I personally like it when i dont see any other RA's. Like ive said before i like havin a car you dont see all the time.

 

WTF where you doing in Guntersville? Sorry to get off topic here but I'm interested in why he was in Guntersville.
