04-05 stock header and downpipe

i have a 04 R/A and my friend has a 05 R/A. I looked at this header and he has a bigger header and a differnt shape. just think about it this way, if you have a 04 add a finger on one of the tubes of the header thats how big it is! now the down -pipe is a singal pipe and very big, not like are 2-1 on the 04's .

I got an 05 RA to, It looks like some parts of the exhaust on the newer 05's is different then that of the 04's, the amount of bolts the downpipe is bolted on with. Possibly more I'm not sure I haven't looked into it yet, But that is some of the Info I got from Gabe @ RRM that they know about already.

Please take a picture of the 05 if you can. So do the 05's now have a 4:1 header or a 4:2:1 header with a single tube DP?

This could be intresting. If they (MCCC) DID indeed change the header to a larger and better flowing header then i'm wondering where they added the restriction to keep the hp/tq numbers the same.

Yeah, someome post up a pic of the '05 header and then someone post up a closer shot of the '04 header.

This would be interesting... If the exhaust is the same style as 04... meaning 4:2:1
Then maybe 04's w/ RRM DP could benefit from getting the 05 header...???

i think the 05 header would benefit for the 04 guys. the only thing that i know is if you look at the 05's down pipe you see a single pipe ,but very big in size!

it's definitely a different part # for both pieces..

can somebody take a picture of the new pieces?

he said that most like you will need to get both, the 05 downpipe won't line up with the 04 header and vice versa

the down pipe include the cat also.. that's why it's so freaking expensive

even at 25-50% (doubt it) off, it's still over $750-$1000 for both pieces
