Its the installation kit for the 6 CD changer.. you have to ask for the CD Changer installation kit, since its not intended to relocate the radio, they won't have a clue what your talking about.

PN# MZ598263EX should be for the black dash
MZ598246EX should be for brown
MZ598248EX should be grey

It should cost around $55

Just double-check the part number with the dealer before you order it.

Yep.. Its the installation kit for the CD changer.. But its also used on the EVO for the aftermarket gauge kit they sell..

and YES, its a standard 1 DIN opening.. if you need to get it new, try www.mitsubishiparts.net their pricing is less than the dealer charges.

The DIN panel replaces the cubby hole. Its held in by two screws and two clips in
the back. I bought mine for $18 from the dealer. After tax it was 21.75. I wouldnt
pay anymore for it.

there are two separate things here. use the search feature. i found it in less than 1 minute. Of course, it was in a previous post of mine. maybe we need to add this to a FAQ, Mods.

there is an install kit. it is considerably more expensive. comes with the DIN panel, side mounting brackets, and hardware. It costs around $75-80. you probably don't need this.

there is also the DIN panel only. the part number is: #MR626799. This is much more inexpensive, only around $18-24.

sorry to be rude, but it's been beat to death over and over, even in the short time i've been here.
