Custom HVAC locations? (Making room for the mac)

Custom HVAC locations? (Making room for the mac)
Didn't really know where to post this so sorry if its in the wrong spot.
I was wondering if anyone had ever needed/has moved the HVAC controls?
I am putting a 7" touch screen where the stock stereo and HVAC controls are, and I'm moving my pioneer head unit to the cubby with the stereo relocation kit that is available for my 2006 Lancer.
(the touch screen is not a double din head unit. It's only the monitor which will be connected to a mac mini computer)
My plans for my future set up will be:
Monitor<-->MAC MINI CARPUTER<-->Head Unit -->speakers
I was thinking about getting some custom fiberglass work done to house the controls under the cubby but above the center console? I need ideas! responses are much appreciated

You could move them to the glove case, biu may have issues with the cables. MOst people that move them either gut or place in the lower cubby custom or with an orbital kit (NLIP).
