viper 5101 remote starter feedback

viper 5101 remote starter feedback

anyone actually installed the 5101 remote starter?any additional modules required for it to work with factory security?

wiring diagram would help

Yea i have the viper 5901 installed. Absolutely love it. The additional module was a glorified coffin which one of my keys is in. Actually the guy took out the chip outta the key and placed it in that box. Yes i still lost a key but now if someone did break in they dont have a key...just a chip.

Same as mine. I also had them wire in a trunk release. It is an awesome alarm and the remote start works great.

i guess the module is needed if equipped with FAST key?

No I don't have FAST key.. The module is needed because of the security in newer cars. The module just carries the signal of the transponder in your key to where you insert your key into the car.

guau... just the chip inside, for the intruder cut the cables and start your car.
