Gauges... what to buy and where are they cheapest?

I'm already sick of not having any instrumentation in my RA, so i've decided to add some gauges.

I've got the Greddy Spin-on Adapter plate that sits between the filter and block sitting on my desk.

I'm thinking of:

Oil Pressure
Oil Temperature
Voltmeter
Water Temp

now, i'm figuring on electrical gauges, mainly for a cleaner, easier install.

is there anywhere to get screaming deals on gauges?

Also, what are some typical places to mount them? I'm trying to stay away from the A-Pillar

I'd stick with just those two, but that's just me.

You could relocate your radio to the lower cubbyhole, and put your gauges in where the radio is now.

Otherwise, there's a plate to mount gauges in the glovebox, or steering column pods, or...

Start at the top and pull it out (straight away from the pillar), work your way down the pillar. Once all the snaps pop out, it slides out of the bottom (dash) with ease.

I would ditch the volt meter and just use the three gauges in the center console

I installed the Air/Fuel and Voltmeter on a pillar pod last night.. and it looks great... but I think Im gonna paint my pillars black to blend in the pod a little better. Also, I got the pro-comp ultra-lite series and I was dissapointed the Air/fuel didnt have a backlight but the led display looks pretty cool.
I got the voltmeter to have a quick check on my battery in ACC. but the air/fuel is all for show... I think if I put anything else it would have to be water temp and oil temp.

unless you run your stereo > 3-4 hours straight on ACC, i doubt that you will drain the battery
