That's a good price... you can always try for less though... I paid more for mine a few months ago w/o S & S...

I think you might be able to find an 04 for less. I'm sorry Lightfighter, but I feel you paid to much for yours. I paid 1500 more than you and I bought mine in FEB 04.

I got my ralliart for 13.9 with out sun and sound. I kind of made the dealer regret his "pledge" that he won't be undersold.

I talked mine down from 18,500 to 16,000... they wouldn't budge after that...

15 I think is a great price, I don't know how much wiggle you are looking for, you are buying a brand new car for like 1500 or so over the KBB used car private seller value. Good luck with the purchase, either way you won't be disappointed.

He is at a good price, but it's best to not go in there with that attitude that he's already given you a great price. I think he might be able to get it cheaper if he works at it.

i paid 15 in december for mine and I was pleased but now in the car world it is considered a year old car loan values now are lower. And book value is alot lower. Check the book and go off of trade in value cause once your off the lot thats what it's worth. 15 is steep to me I would tell them can't help you didn't sell enough cars this one is a year old and make them look up the value they are going to try to charge you for their misforture. You can get an 05 for about the same price if you catch it at a slow time and there are a lot of rebates. mistsubishi offers 1500 cash back if you are in school sometimes i would catch a deal that is what i did and i don't regret it.

I paid $15500 on Feb. 1 for a leftover 2004 with sun and sound, so I think there is room to move a little.

I paid $18.6k OTD for my 04 with sun, sound, & side airbags in Feb 04. $15k sounds like a fair price for one now. I wouldn't pay more than that, but I don't think you'll be able to negotiate that price down much further either, given that it's the same car as the 05.

Btw, does it have side airbags? If you wanna get the S&S package I strongly recommend getting the side airbags as well. They make a huge difference in side impact crashes in small cars.
