CAI install

im trying to install my intake but its not fitting right...i no you have to take out the splash gaurd but when i was looking its obvious that if i turned the wheel it would hit the filter, take it off probably....but i was wondering which tranny bolt you guys were talking about that holds it....this just isn't working for me...also what did you guys do with the radiator hose...its right in the way!

Which CAI do u have Injen/AEM/RRM? My buddy just got his installed like a week ago and he had no problems. He said that it was an easy bolt-on. Took him about 30mins with removing the splash guard. By the way he has Injen.

I installed my RRM by just putting the pipe to the right of the 2 rubber pipes when looking into the engine bay. I used the bolt to the right also and just remove the splash guard when installing and then put it back on when you are done. That's it. Any questions, then just keep asking.

Check the mas make sure it's on tight. The ecu needs to re-learn the idle and everything assuming you reset the ecu after you installed. If not it just takes a little while longer for the ecu to learn.
