Buying new Ralliart, how low can I go?

Hey guys,

I am looking to buy an 05 Ralliart in the next week or so and was looking for some advice. Mitsu here in canada has 0% interest on all ralliarts and the one I want (with Sun&Sound Pkg) is $28,000 canadian. I was a little shocked by the price, but that includes all taxes, GST and everything. I was wondering what any other canadians, or anyone else for that matter, thought of this price. How low do you think I can get them to go? I would also like the evo spoiler, so I will try to get them to throw that into the deal as well. I am only looking to spend around $25,000.. Do you think this is attainable? Let me know what deals you guys struck up with your dealerships.

Thanks

Look for the kick backs like if your a student they offer a 1500 cash back. Mitsubishi offer alot of little things like that. And make sure its a low selling month they want to make that last sell of the month to get their quota so go toward the end of the month. And june is actually the end of the second quarter of the year so that may help too.

Good point, and if someone in your family is in the military they will cut the price down.

Like I said, I am in Canada so none of those deals apply to me. They do have a student discount here, but its only a measly $500.. I am going on thursday to see what kind of deal I can get.

I paid just under $23000 CDN after taxes and rebates in September for for my brand new 04 Lancer Sportback Ralliart. This also included a 500 grad rebate. At the time, the MSRP's for the sedan Ralliart w/ Sun & Sound was just slightly more than my Sportback and I managed to talk them down about $5000 off MSRP. Mitsu is desperate to sell so be firm. Unfortunately I only got this deal if I paid cash on the spot and take advantage of their 0% financing.

I paid $15.3K U.S. out the door or just over $14K for a '04 Sportback Ralliart earlier this month.

Search the Web and papers for some pricing. It might help if they don't want to bargin.
