Makes you wanna go out and get some decent rubber doesn't it?

I can't argue with that. You peeps who are still on the RS-As, go out and buy new tires as fast as you can! I test drove the car and immediatly told the salesman that he would have to mount good rubber under the car for me to buy it...

I finally decided on P-Zero's and they're impressive to say the least! They're designed to offer a great cornering performance though... but acceleration is improved a lot too.

how is it that the wrx is .47 seconds faster than us in the 1/4? of the 227hp in the wrx,how much power actually gets put to the ground? turbo and awd dosent seem to do much for them if thats all the faster they are.

It actually means that we have a pretty good chance from a roll. They have the launch advantage due to the AWD, but once they get going the drivetrain losses become a disadvantage.

I knew about the times for our RA's but I didnt realize that it was better than almost all of the competition. If only ralli arts had the amount of mod options at civics, we could have one bad a$$ fast car. This almost makes me want to stay with 16's, instead of 17/18's...almost.

Those numbers on the WRX are pretty high. I've seen many 0-60 times in the mid 5's and that is the lowest 0-60 time I've ever seen for the Ralliart. But it does go to show what the RA is capable of with a perfect launch.

But is that a Ralliart Sportback or just a plain sportback?

Good question... we all assumed it was a RalliArt, but come to think of it, it's probably a plain Sportback.

As the title says... it's the Ralliart Sportback.

what rpm launch you think it took to get that 0-60 and 1/4 time? 2500? 3000?

Let's just say that, generally speaking, journalists don't give a sh*t about those demo cars...

The reason's not really the launch, it's the tires. That car was tested with the old Bridgestones, which are a little grippier than the Goodyears. Mitsu switched tires to save ~$30 per tire, or $120 per car.
