Post Looking for a front emblem...

-

Hey there guys!

I know some of you will find that weird, but I'm looking for a from emblem. When we got back from vacation, I had so much bugs and tar on the front of the car that I went to the pressure wash to take some of it out before washing... and some of the chrome paint lifted up from the emblem!!!

So I'm looking for someone who has debadged and is willing to part with his/her emblem. My dealer charges 12$ for these, so I can't offer you much more than a big thanks though...

I didn't realize the front emblem came off? Why not just make overlays for em...? that's only, like, $2-$3 cost?

I know I could do that... I'm just not into that look.

Yeah, the front emblem comes off... I've seen some of the guys in here take theirs off. I just can't remember who...

First thing, most dont remove their front emblems, it looks ugly. So probably not alot of people are gonna have extra.

Second.

IT'S $12 CA DUDE! Why are you even bothering to post this? Even if someone sells you one cheaper or free you still gotta pay for the shipping. Just go get a brand new one and call it a day.

It still would be much cheaper to put this in an eveloppe... but yeah, I'll have to order one if I can't find anybody woth one to spare.

BTW: No I'm not a cheap a$s... it's just that the budget is very tight right now. The wife has diverted all our income to the landscaping...

Anyway, thanks for the advice guys...

Yeah, I hate flowers and she wants them everywhere... so I'm in constant negociations, providing alternate ideas (including pictorials). If she could just go with the Japanese style garden I'd just dump some sand and stones in there and get on with it already!!!

Anyway, ordering the emblem I guess... I hope I got quoted the right price this time (the last item I ordered through the dealer, they appologized for the 5$ "mistake" once it got here... grrrr...). BTW: it takes at least 10 business days to get any part shipped at my dealer! It took more like 20 days for the front spring! WTF!?!
