mitsu is usually pretty quiet about changes. look on their PR site for the update, but dont expect it until february.

Anyone know when the 2006s will be out? The 05s came out near the end of 2004, october or so wasn't it?
I really want to know about any changes too.

The last thing I heard was that the 07's will be the next year with major diffrences. As far as minor ones, I have no clue. I wouldnt expect much.

hi again
i spoke with a dealer of mitsubishi and he told me that they will be changes in the dash
such as the black carbon will be in 2006 silver carbon with lancer logo on it
the 2006 model will also have different seats in the ralliart. alo the steering wheel may be changed to a smaller size.

those are pretty much the changes
i will wait for the 2006 to come since i think it will look nicer

Mitsu's product cycle is around 5 years per model before major changes. Changes in those 5 years will generally be cosmetic only (dash, rims, colors, etc.). So I would not expect major changes until 2008 M.Y. at the earliest.
How I know: I got into a Mitsu training session for the eclipses a few years ago (don't ask) and the corporate Mitsu guys laid out their marketing strategy for product life cycle.

Only cosmetic changes, nothing to engine. seats and steering wheel should be the same. (no parts changes in service)

what are you talking about oldjames
you are just saying that because you have the 2004
as i said before the changes will be in the dash silver carbon with lancer logo
new grills , different seats ( more sporty ) + steering wheel
if you go to mitsubishi in the jap site you will see some pictures of the new model

^^^ Yeah, the car is not even the same in some areas... so don't rely on the japanese site. I wouldn't rely on the salesmen either... they promised me the EVO here in Canada for the 2006 model year.

After talking to the PR guys at the Montreal auto show they said 2007 model year... but I don't believe them anymore.

The moral of this: like the rest of us, wait and you will see.

BTW: One guy one here last year was told by the salesman at the dealer that the 2005 RA would get mesh front grills. So, where are they???

i really want to see what the 07 might look like before i consider the 06. i've heard the 07 will have more "evo-like" features trickled down to the ralliart.
