I bought my 05 RA in march and have been reading threads on this forum and what not since then. I never registered or anything because my questions had already been asked and you have that nice newbie thread to take care of about everything. However, I decided that I should start posting in case I have 2 cents to give. If there are any questions about me, my car anything, shoot.

 

Actually if theres anything in the noob thread that should be added, let me know. and ill consider it. I want that thread to be sort of like a "knowledge base". And the more information I can put in there, the better.

 

With suspension mods, including LSD, and a turbo kit, whether it be the one you can buy, or one built yourself, could an RA take an evo VIII? I ask because the Evo IX has the Mivec...

 

Beat it? You mean on a straight line or a course?? I'd say it depends on the boost, but a Evo should win either way.

If you find an Evo with a horrible driver and you dump a ton of money into your RA you might lose by only 5 car lengths goin straight... but if you have to make turns don't bother...

 

Hey new guy! That's me also. I have a 2004 ralliart I bought brand new last june. I was driving a Chevy Blazer at the time and it was NO fun. I knew about evos and regular lancers but one day I saw a ralliart go by and I was at the dealership 2 weeks later! LOVE this car. Hello to everyone else here also. I have gained alot of knowledge over the last year because of you.

Currently have a Magnaflow exhaust 14829 Sounds great. I also purchased a Works hiigh flow drop in filter which should be here anyday now. I will post a review in a couple days as I don't think too many of you have this (haven't seen a post) Thanks again everybody .
