sup guys

what i would like to have that will be included in the future ralliart is recaro seats like the evo , smaller steering wheel , 17'' wheels , mesh on the grilles , evo wing and of course more power
if they can make the car with a turbo engine that will at least go up to 200hp as a option.
that will be great
i think that that would bring many young buyers for mitsubishi

please put you thoughts in
mitsubishi n#1
cheers

i think mesh grills (evo style), a 6 speed (to compete with the Spec-V), and a sportier shift knob would be very doable changes for the next model, and an optional turbo wouldn't be out of the question. I don't think they'll make many exterior changes, and the Evo Wing is what seperates the two cars look, so i highly doubt the wing will be added.

I would like to see it AWD, and turbo'd from factory (i agree 200hp would be just fine), then it will really be a lil' evo. HID's, and RalliArt rims too.

oh yeah AWD should be a must for the next version, then so many more people would buy a lancer over a sentra, itd be the less expensive wrx alternative

With AWD and a turbo, the RA will compete directly with he WRX. Mitsu should start bringing in their GDI engines. That way, it will be a step ahead of the Rex, and a step in the right direction.

I think AWD would put it neck and neck with a WRX because you would have to get more HP to compinsate for the weight. Plus AWD costs more money and so does HP.

If you start with the fact that it shouldn't be more expensive than the current model, there's not much more you could ask. I would have to say that under these conditions, Mitsubishi has to choose between LSD and 6spd...

If the ECU got a new program to match 6spd ratios, the car could still be a bit more performant for about the same price.

Of course, some esthetic changes wouldn't get the price of the car up, so grills and new body panels would be a logical way to go about this... as well as a refreshed interior. I personnaly would drool over some of the interior touches that RalliArt is selling for the Lancer in Asia right now (like the CF look center console).

I'd like to see a better looking grill than we have now ( it looks too pontiac for me-I liked the '03 grill a little better), and a rear dome light. Mostly I'd like a power trunk-pop with a button gor it on the key fob. I really miss that feature. Other than that I think that for the price, they kind of got it right the first time. This car is a total kick in the a$$ to drive.

Really all of this would make the price skyrocket... but just for fun I would like to see a Mivec DOHC top end... 6-speed... don't really need AWD... I'd rather have RWD... that would be cool... I like the interior but I think that it would be cool if the HVAC controls were in the cubby and they came with the double din pieces in the middle... HID... Evo steering wheel... we can't ask for too much or else what would be left to modify!!!

I have to admit that the steering wheel would be a nice touch... and shouldn't push the price that much higher either.

How about a "MR" package. Say it came w/ turbo (agree, 200 hp is fine for me), alum, pedals/shift knob standard, and a different skirt package/spoiler. Maybe even LSD.

I'd like to see a smaller 3 spoke steering wheel included ATB (across the board).

Sounds yummy! I wonder what the price tag would be though...
