I need some feedback on some of the catback exhaust systems available in the GTA. Ultimate Racing has a system that comes with a resonator for $490USD or $606 canadian. Essentialspeed has a system for $890 canadian.
Does anyone have these items, and if so, can you tell me some positives/negatives and advantages of either systems. Also if you know of another place in the GTA to purchase a catback i'm open to suggestions. I"m not sure why one is almost 300 more. I"m basically looking for great performance, but not alot of noise. I bought an axleback from my dealership but its too loud on long trips, and my dealership closed down so i'm replacing it on my own. Help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Don't waste your money on a cat back, it's pointless on the RA.


Get a custom job done from a local shop, or get the axle back from RRM.

 

Oh, and I'm pretty sure a cat back will be louder than the exhaust you had

 

get a catback. a 2.5" at that. it is worth it. take it from me. i have one. small peak gains, but about good gains in the higher rpms. the axleback is just aa noise maker. want proof:

tq in the after picture isnt dark enuf, bt it picks up sooner and stays higher longer. i was reareneded 2 months ago and my exhaust got crushed, so i have the stock back on and i can REALLY tell a difference when passing on the highway. major pickup is lost up top =( im getting it put back on soon

 

damn..ofcorse ud gain from catback.... no question.. i mean..its not like its gona make it alot faster..but it coudl maximize ur high end power... youll most likely feel it in the highways.. just installed my greddy evo catback on my 04 es... and yeah..no doubt.. im happy.. my car doesnt struggle anymore..lol

 

whats the quietest aftermarket exhaust with good airflow?
