Clicks on turns? It's the CV joint. Make sure they replace it because if the joint is making noise, it's bad.

Yeah, if it is clicking when you are turning then it is the axle that is gone. It happened to my SRT4, the axle went out on that and it was making clicking noises when I would turn to the right.

Ok before I go and say what happened, just a little recap.

There was a werd black liquid coming from my right wheel side. Took it to the dealership, inwhich they told me that my right CV Axle Boot was leaking. I took it in on friday and they got the part on saturday.

Well they called my later that day and told me they ordered the wrong part and that a new one would come in on wednesday and it would be ready thursday(today). Well Mitsubishi called me today and told me that instead of changing the boot(because they couldn't get the part for some reason) that they would just get a whole new axle...Alright. Aparently on warrenty I just got a whole new axle.

Just wanted to share with everyone.

what a good deal. Did that fail under normal driving or were you running the car hard it corners? just wondering so we can all learn from a possible mistake

I basically took it on a road trip. Must have just been me, but I stayed clear from bumps and things that would mess up my suspension. Not really sure what happened. Sorry.

Probably just got a bad one. That's what the warranty is all about, right?

I think my CV joints are bad also...Im getting a clicking noise when moving real slow. I just came from the dealership (SHEEHY MITSUBISHI in Maryland = rude service reps with attitudes) and they said since I bought the vehicle used all the bumber to bumper warranty does not apply to my car...only to the first buyer...??? Is that true???? Then they said the vehicle had lowering springs, so that voided anything for suspension warranty....????

Vehicle has 27,010 miles...Any reccomendations?????????

SHEEHEY MITSUBISHI SERVICE REPS SUCK!!!

The bumper to bumper you keep, the 10 year drivetrain you lose. But the springs... they might have you there. Maybe swap stock springs onto it and try another dealer?

Good call. Put it all back to stock and try your luck somewhere else... and say you want to make it your permanent dealership. Sometimes it works... service is where a dealership makes a big chunk of it's profits.

What's the worst that can happen? They could turn you down???
