Just curious

I was looking at a Lancer Ralliart...and I have a few questions:

1. How many of you like your Ralliarts?
2. Which options DON'T I need?
3. What is the best price you have found yours for? I know they retail fully loaded for $21,000 or so, but I know the sticker is way under that...and there is no way in hell when my friend bought a brand new '04 for $16,000 that I will pay that much.

The Ralliart is a damn fun little car. It comes standard with pretty much everything you could want. If you have the mad bargaining skillz, and can get one for the crazy low prices I keep reading that people pay (I certainly paid more!!) I say snag one ASAP!

1. I like mine. Good car for the price.

2. Only options are Sun & Sound Package (sunroof & Infinity + sub system) $1500.
-if you're not going aftermarket stereo, and want a sun roof, this isn't a bad deal.

3. 2004 in San Diego for $18,900 out the door with S&S. Prob can get cheaper then that in other states.

Options you don't need? Sun & Sound and side air bags. If you don't really need a sun roof, you can save a nice ammount up front by not taking the S&S package. You will still have the option of upgrading your audio setup with aftermarket components later. Just know that you can't get the side air bags without choosing the S&S first though... unless they changed that policy since I bought mine.

What i did was i told the dealer what i wanted my payments to be.This kinda eliminated the price haggling. When the first dealer couldnt come up with the payment i wanted i told him i was going to his competitors an i called all of them.they all came in with there bids an i called them all back with the best one i got then they will either come down or not but they were all singing a diff tune when i had them all bunched up lol.It is a very fun car to drive an i dnt think u need the sun an sound because u can stick aftermarket boom in there for much cheaper. When i got the best bid i told em i wanted a sunroof in it an they sent it off an added a little on to my payments.ALL I GOTTA SAY IS MAKE ALL THE DEALERS IN UR AREA COMPETE.that is the key.an tell them you are buying today they get back to u a lot quicker lol. good luck

You're lucky there's actually more than one dealer in your area...

I would get it with the Sun&Sound. The Infinity system ais very nice and the side air bags save you money on car insurance. Do it.

I didn't feel like the sun&sound was worth the extra money. Its essentially the same stereo and speakers but you get a subwoofer and sunroof for $1500. I didn't personally feel like it was worth it but those features could be important to alot of people.

I do love my RA btw. I thought about it, If I had the money to do it over again, there's no other car I would get for the money, and thats the 100% truth.

i think the woofers and tweeters are Infinity as well. They are not the same speakers because they sound significantly clearer in the upper range then stock.
