turbo cruiser
Ah, ya see, this would be a great time to unleash it.........
WHY DONT YOU JUST BUY AN EVO!!!?????
I doubt it would work though, just like swapping a motor in a Lancer, it can be done, but not worth the trouble.

heres the problem with that white one, and why i think its overspray. that was an 05 srt, meaning it comes in red, yellow, silver, and black. the fact that it was white and had differnt side skirts, that wernt blended properly to the front and rear fascia. this means that the body shop didnt do a very good job at it, or he did it himself. either way, it was a quick cheap job, so overspray wouldnt suprise me one bit

Uh, guys... so back on topic here for just a tad... so what's the story on that turbo kit on the (really ugly) PT Cruiser?
I can't see why this would be interesting to any Lancer owner. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the plumbing can't fit right? And wouldn't the kit cost you the same as if you bought the one from RRM anyway? Plus, since it's never been tested on the RA, why take the chance in the first place?
BTW: Nice to see an actual SRT-4 owner with any kind of common sense... I respect that, but it's not gonna change my mind about the car though. To each his opinion I guess...

k, u can make any turbo fit any car for the most part, but the bottom line here is that the turbo header will prob not match up with our car.
when you build a turbo kit from scratch, the most costly part is the header unless u you get one in mass production for the turbine that you want to use (or u make ur own or get a crappy log-style fabed up by any exhaust shop). expect to pay about $1000 to have a nice tubular equal-length header custom made!
in other words, sure, you can take the turbine, bov, boost controler, wutever off the PT and fab ur own custom header, intake, plumbing, do the wiring, buy all the electronics you would need for ANY turbo on the RA and tune it.....but why start /w the PT crap? why not get a good turbonetics or garett turbine? that said, u can take a 'turbo' from ANY car and fit it to virtually any other car, to this extent. but, you throw out alot of the important pieces and have to remake them to fit ur application
however, if the header 'fits' the RA exhaust ports and downpipe (very very unlikely) then ur in business, at least for 1 big piece.
prob not what u guys were thinking, but thats pretty much how it works.

I just look at alot of wrecked cars and look for profitable parts. Sorry it's been a while since I have left a post but my hard drive failed and i just got it replaced. Thanks for the input though i enjoyed it.
alot of 2g eclipse parts fit our car. if anything would have a compatable header, that would be it. get a picture of the flange from one and just eyeball compair the bolt locations to the ralliart.
